we are absent

[فَوْقَ] ٱل

رَّبِّ

Lord;
لِأَنَّ

[ٱلْ] إِيمَانِ

faith
نَسْلُكُ

we walk,

sight.
فَ

نَثِقُ

We are confident

εὐδοκέω
are pleased,
بِٱلْأَوْلَى
μᾶλλον5

rather
أَنْ نَتَغَرَّبَ
ἐκδημῆσαι6

to be absent
عَنِ

[نَا] ٱلْ

the

مُسْتَوْطِنِين

ἐνδημέω
being at home

مُتَغَرِّبِينَ

أَنْ نَكُونَ

وَأَمَّا

to God
[فَ] قَدْ صِرْنَا ظَاهِرِينَ

we have been made manifest;
[هُ] وَ

I hope

boasting,

[the] heart.
لِأَنَّ

صِرْنَا مُخْتَلِّينَ

we are beside ourselves,
[فَ] لِلهِ

[it is] to God;

كُنَّا عَاقِلِينَ
σωφρονοῦμεν6

we are sober-minded
[فَ] لَكُمْ

We implore

Be reconciled
